A blazer is where TWP's menswear influence is most apparent, reinterpreted through the proportions and sensibility of women. Trish Wescoat Pound builds jackets fully constructed and beautifully lined, in ultra-fine merino wool twill from an Italian mill, with lapels that sometimes double up and shoulders that stay soft. The boyfriend cut is roomy through the body and long enough to push the sleeves back. Cropped shapes sit higher and read sharper. Both are drafted so the jacket keeps its shape while you keep moving.

The wider jackets and blazers collection extends into leather and shearling. Vegetable-tanned lambskin bombers, shaggy pieces with real weight, pony hair worked with leather, featherweight suede, and coated canvas all appear. Cashmere jackets bring a knitted alternative to a tailored one, and denim jackets in Japanese cotton denim, washed and sanded in Los Angeles, bring an easy sportswear sensibility to the collection.

Wear them over shirting, a cashmere crew, or a beaded cami when the evening turns. Colors run through midnight, charcoal grey, cognac and chocolate browns, oatmeal and ivory.
